Position Overview

This position contributes to business growth through the creation and maintenance of client relationships. They are responsible for gathering and synthesizing client inputs, identifying key areas of opportunity, organizing and aligning the organization around a clearly defined vision and ultimately, delivering results. The Account Manager must understand category dynamics, client-specific challenges and emerging capabilities within the marketplace.  They manage all client communications- weekly status, ongoing email discussions and deliverable presentations as well as cross-functional resources required to deliver the project in-full.

  • Champions deep relationships to meet expectations of internal and external stakeholders

Position Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in a related field: MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of Agency, MarTech/AdTech or Brand experience
  • Recent experience supporting, managing and/or implementing strategies around data or technology solutions
  • Ability to quickly identify and understanding broader business issues, as well as the immediate urgencies that shape the direction of marketing initiatives
  • Must be able to clearly articulate our approach in presentations with senior leaders
  • Capable of simplifying complex concepts for broader group understanding
  • Identifies, organizes and maintains core body of knowledge and translates across the organization
  • Ability to take initiative and collaborate with internal team as well as external partners (brands, agencies, and platforms)
  • Proven history of successfully managing projects across various cross-functional teams and meeting timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage several tasks at once
  • Capable of maintaining a professional demeanor throughout engagements, representing our company values during challenging interactions and is fair when making decisions
  • Demonstrates flexibility, eagerness to learn and genuine desire to contribute 
  • Effectively supports overall account goals and offers constructive feedback to advance product quality 
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn on the fly
  • An ability to assimilate requirements from a variety of sources and drive agreement and compromise between teams

Position Responsibilities

  • Primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders- developing relationships with targeted stakeholders inside client, agency and platform organizations
  • Develop a deep level of trust across key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Set the strategy and structure for multiple work streams 
  • Help to manage internal/external expectations- mitigating risk and escalating concerns where appropriate
  • Seek and understand client expectations; ensuring quality, setting the structure, vision and narrative for all client outputs to meet those needs 
  • Collaborate with Project Manager in development of project plan to ensure client goals are being met
  • Partner with PM and Associate to incrementally evaluate timelines and resourcing requirements to determine proactive, strategic shifts to meet goals of delivery, quality and growth 
  • Partner with cross-teams to synthesize discovery findings into client deliverables and work with technology, data and leadership team to present recommendations to clients. 
  • Work with the Account Lead to craft the “story” around key deliverables ensuring the relevance and impact of findings is understood and actionable  
  • Ensures materials are reviewed and internal alignment gained to ensure successful client delivery
  • Work with Accounts senior leadership to identify and create new opportunities that will drive ROI for our clients 
  • Support business development efforts in establishing new client partnerships 
  • Contribute to Transparent’s branding and awareness efforts through content creation, social marketing and event participation
  • Continued focus on educational and network development opportunities
