Position Overview

This position contributes to business growth through the creation and maintenance of client relationships. They are responsible for gathering and synthesizing client inputs, identifying key areas of opportunity, organizing and aligning the organization around a clearly defined vision and ultimately, delivering results. The Account Manager must understand category dynamics, client-specific challenges, and emerging capabilities within the marketplace.  They manage all client communications- weekly status, ongoing email discussions, and deliverable presentations as well as cross-functional resources required to deliver the project in-full.

Position Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in a related field: MBA a plus.
  • 4+ years of Agency, MarTech/AdTech orBrand experience
  • Recent experience supporting, managing and/or implementing strategies around data or technology solutions
  • Ability to quickly identify and understanding broader business issues, as well as the immediate urgencies that shape the direction of marketing initiatives
  • Must be able to clearly articulate our approach in presentations with senior leaders
  • Capable of simplifying complex concepts for broader group understanding
  • Identifies, organizes and maintains core body of knowledge and translates across the organization
  • Ability to take initiative and work in collaboration with internal team as well as external partners (brands, agencies, and platforms)
  • Proven history successfully managing projects across various cross-functional teams and meeting timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship development capabilities
  • An ability to learn quickly and work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability effectively prioritize and manage several tasks at once
  • Maintains professional demeanor during challenging interactions and is fair when making decisions
  • Demonstrates flexibility, eagerness to learn and genuine desire to contribute
  • Effectively supports overall account goals and offers constructive feedback to advance product quality

Position Responsibilities

  • The primary point of contact for the work stream (internal and external)- developing relationships with targeted stakeholders inside client, agency and platform organizations
  • Develop a deep level of trust across key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Creation and maintenance of a comprehensive project plan- crafting weekly status updates (i.e. forecast weekly account metrics) such as billable hours, margin, etc.) managing internal/external expectations, mitigating risk and escalating concerns where appropriate
  • Partner with cross-teams to synthesize discovery findings into client deliverables and work with leadership to present recommendations to clients
  • Actively contribute to the optimization of existing product offerings or identification of potential new solutions
  • Work with Account Director to identify and create new opportunities that will drive ROI for the client and/or create new opportunities for Transparent
  • Contribute to Transparent’s branding and awareness efforts through content creation, social marketing, and event participation
  • Continued focus on educational and network development opportunities
