Position Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial analyst with a track record of building and delivering technology, data and analytics solutions to companies and brands. Experience should include understanding current client needs, identifying solutions, organizing a strategy around customer outcomes and delivering value back to our clients.  As a key contributor for Data, Technology & Analytics (DT&A) within Transparent, the Analyst must stay on top of the bleeding edge of data, technology & analytics and emerging capabilities that will allow our customers to support the next generation of the marketing function and enable modern marketing practitioners. The role will work collaboratively with our Account team to integrate the DT&A elements into overall deliverables.

Position Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in related field: MBA a plus.
  • 0-3+ years of technology and data analytics work (such as data engineering, integration,or data visualization) across various data sources, modeling, or consulting.
  • Strong background and relevant experience leading, managing and implementing strategies to gain business value from data sets from segmentation or reportingthat enabled improved business performance.
  • Understanding and experience with configuration and implementation of marketing technologies and analytics tools.
  • Understand the capabilities of CDP, DMP, TMS and DSP platforms and their relationship with Data & Analytics practices.
  • Ability to take initiative and work in collaboration with internal team as well as external partners (brands, agencies and platforms)
  • Track record of successfully managing projects across various functional teams and meeting timelines.
  • Ability to quickly identify and understand broader business issues, as well as the immediate urgencies that help shape the direction of strategic marketing initiatives
  • Strong communication skills – must be able to clearly articulate our approach and strategic recommendations in presentations with senior leaders.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in writing and verbally with audiences of varying understanding and backgrounds.
  • Must have a natural consultative approach to solving complex challenges to deliver on measurable business results
  • Excellent leadership and team building/management skills; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to external and internal stakeholders as well as the ability to influence others.

Position Responsibilities

  • Be the primary day-to-day expert on Data, Technology & Analytics related to technology systems (CDP, TMS, DMP, DSP, MTA, Analytics tools) for dedicated client team.
  • Collect and document key functional requirements to achieve expected deliverable defined in project scope.
  • Work alongside the Account team to understand client needs that will guide Transparent towards our deliverables.
  • Support client deliverables based on our scope and guided by the Account team.
  • Assess current state of client data, technology and analytics ecosystem, evaluate data platforms. Identify opportunities to create new systems and analytics that will drive ROI, and formulate findings into client deliverables that contain analysis and meaningful implications.
  • Build a gap analysis that outlines opportunities that exist and recommend a path towards a solution, including continuation of services over time.
  • Synthesize conclusions and formulate recommendations into client deliverables and work with the Account team to present findings to clients.
  • Play an active role in supporting advancement of DT&A practice including product, operation and approach.
  • Create a presence for Transparent in the marketplace with unique POV’s or blog posts highlighting the value of our approach to D&A.
